These are a few pics of Rihanna on the set of her "Hard" video. It's not exactly what I expected but, I'm very interested to see how it turns out. My only question is: when the heck did Rihanna get so thick??? Looks great on her....

MTV News Rihanna on "Hard" concept

"Hard" is the official third single by Rihanna, from her new album, Rated R, Which is what brought her to Los Angeles this week where she shot a video for the track with director Melina Matsoukas. And in keeping with the feel of the song, the video is equally tough: an over-the-top military exercise, only with a decidedly Rihanna touch.

"It's couture military," Rihanna explained. "Everything is surrounded around the idea of something military. We have tanks, we have troops, we've got helicopters, we've got explosions. We've got lots of cute outfits, lots of bullets. It's crazy."

2 Vans Callabos

THe First shoe, show here, is the collaboration with Hong Kong store 8Five2 on the Chuckka low. Commemorating the 10th anniversary of the store, the Vans Chukka Low comes in an all black colorway, featuring a premium leather upper and a clean white sole. The sneaker is now available at 8FIVE2. Japanese brand Deluxe gives us another collaborative sneaker with the brand. This time they worked with Vans on the Authentic. It comes in a nice light grey colorway with blue accents, a blue leather stripe on the heel and a blue lining. December 8th.

fragment design meets Rolex

fragment design has gotten together with the Bamford Watch Department to customize some Rolex. This time they chose to work on the classic Explorer I. It comes in all matt black with black dial and and an accent color on the dial. There are overall three colorways available of the watch. A release date has not been announced. Air Jordan 25th Silver Anniversary

Part 3 of the Air Jordan 25th Silver Anniversary reveals itself as arguably one of the strongest previews to-date. The fan-favorite Air Jordan III, VIII and XIII is seen alongside more modern Jordan signatures, the XIX and the XX3. There are still two more parts (a total of 5) to come. I've personally never been a huge fan of Jordans, only a select few have really stood out to me. Never-the-less, Jordans are iconic and this aniversary set will show off full collection.

Jay-z Bouncers In Trouble

Bouncers for Jay-Z's "40/40" club in Atlantic City are currently under investigation for an attack which took place outside the venue over the weekend. Although cries of "cool out" and "dont hit him" were heard, around twelve employees of the club in Atlantic City beat two men in the parking lot. In the video that hit the net, workers can be seen kicking one man over and over after he hit the ground. THe Management persuaded the men (who were wearing military style black uniforms) to cease.

The new Homeroom Holiday 2009 Collection has really got me stirred up. The varsity jacket and the shortened pea coat (shown here) are made of 100% California wool and leather right in San Francisco. The collection has released this week at various retailers and you can also find it at the Homeroom website.

Prince of Persia

Disney has their hands on another sure-fire blockbuster, which originates from a very popular video game series. Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, stars Jake GyyllenHall and with Disney magic has him jumping all over the screen to save a princess, i think. Anyway, Disney doesn't ever really fall short on films and i have an idea that this will no doubt be a huge hit and probably spawn off ATLEAST two sequals. Here is your first look:

OH GEEZ!!! MY FIRST BLOG

Hi everyone reading!!! I'm new to this whole blog thing but I'm here to share and inform everyone on everything pop culture! I love music; its my life, something I will never get tired of and never retreat from. It is the one thing that surrounds me and engulfs me. I simply cant get enough. I love everything from Britney Spears to Marylin Manson, Rick Ross to Frank Sinatra, Carrie Underwood to Bob Marley, Beyonce to Joe Crocker. I LOVE MUSIC.

I also have a love for fashion. Although my love for fashion doesn't go as deep as it does for music I'm always looking for the trends being set and different ways to reignite the fashion world as well as my own wardrobe! Fashion has always caught my eye, and coming from a mid-sized southern town, I've always struggled with pushing the bar a little too much. Not many people here understand the power of fashion and what it speaks without words and sometimes i find myself standing out a little too much because some people just don't get it. But, never the less, I LOVE FASHION.

Ever since i was a little boy i have been sucked into dynamic films. Ive always had a love for movies and have always been captivated and willing and ready to appreciate the next great film. You see, much like music and fashion, film have a way to capture your heart and soul and suck the life out of you, if deemed its purpose. Movies and film make us laugh, make us cry, can change our moods within an instant, can help us understand our own lives and situations, even help us evolve with inspiration. And for this, is why I LOVE FILM.
